Plantation Shutters Petersburg, VA

Shenandoah Shutters Proudly Serves Petersburg

Today, Petersburg is home to charming independent businesses, especially restaurants and coffee shops that give the city its own characteristic flair. It’s located in the “Gateway Region” of Virginia, a nonprofit that works to boost economic development in Petersburg and surrounding areas. Petersburg is ever growing and evolving, but in many ways, it never loses its original flair.

Petersburg has a historic style embedded in its character, and your home can feel much the same way. With traditional plantation shutters, even a more contemporary style home can have a classic elegance to it. These shutters are easy to adjust so you’ll get as much or as little light as you’d like during the day.

But if you’re looking for something a little outside the norm, there are also our patented Softedge shutters. These shutters take inspiration from kitchen and bathroom cabinets that you might find in Europe, so they fit right in with Petersburg’s aesthetic, which still takes colonial and European influences. No two homes are the same, so why be limited by just one style of plantation shutters, after all? What really matters is quality of craftsmanship and a plantation shutter manufacturer that you can trust.

First of all, Shenandoah Shutters is local. All plantation shutters by Shenandoah Shutters are manufactured just 21 miles away in Richmond, Virginia. We understand the culture, the weather, and the homeowners of Petersburg.

More than that, we’re committed to quality. We take time to ensure that all of our shutters have a quality that lasts. That kind of careful consideration starts with the wood. We’ll use basswood for stained shutters in order to offer the brightest color to the stain. However, we also understand that basswood is too porous for our cream and white shutters. For those, we use denser woods such as yellow poplar. We also take your preferences into account and make custom shutters with woods like cherry, mahogany and oak.

We stand by our shutters and the elegance they offer to Petersburg homes. Contact Shenandoah Shutters today for more information about installing plantation shutters for your Petersburg home.
