Shenandoah Shutters Proudly Serves Middlesex County
The Museums of Middlesex offer unique glimpses into Middlesex County history, as well as everything from Colonial America to prehistoric artifacts. The Deltaville Maritime Museum, in particular, takes visitors on a journey through the area’s history as a waterside community.
Shenandoah Shutters is located in Richmond, only an hour away from Middlesex County. Since 1990, we’ve been crafting high-quality, custom made interior plantation shutters for Virginia and surrounding states. Our plantation shutters are made using only premium woods, including yellow poplar and basswood, as well as mahogany, oak, and cherry. Choose from creams, stains, and custom colors to complete the look of your plantation shutters.
Are you seeking a modern twist for your plantation shutters? We offer both traditional and original options, including our innovative, patented Softedge design. With the Softedge design, your hinges are hidden when the shutters are closed. This is a popular choice for windows that would otherwise have bulky frames or hanging strips, like tilt-ins or casements. With the Softedge, you have a completely clean, seamless appearance no matter your window type.
Worried about an oddly shaped window? We can custom make plantation shutters for any type of window. You can even have plantation shutters on your arches, sunbursts, and sliding glass doors.
Plantation shutters give each room in your home the perfect ambiance. You control the natural light for a cozy, inviting atmosphere. Plantation shutters are also easy to maintain, private, and energy efficient.
Stop by our Richmond woodshop and showroom during the work week for a tour of our facility and products. You’ll see us on Cofer Road across from International Paper.
Can’t make it to Richmond? Let us come to you! Give Shenandoah Shutters a call today to schedule a free, in-home design estimate and consultation for your Middlesex County home.
