Shenandoah Shutters Proudly Serves Mathews County
While the easy water access of Mathews County makes recreational activities a favorite of the area, visitors and residents can also enjoy historical sites, such as Mathews Court House Square.
Shenandoah Shutters has made custom hardwood shutters in Richmond since 1990. Located in nearby Richmond, our plantation shutters are ideally suited to the stylish homes of Mathews County. With plantation shutters, you use the louvers (horizontal slats) of the shutter to filter in and out the Virginia sunlight. The result is an inviting, warm ambiance for each room of your home.
Plantation shutters add a fitted hardwood detail to the window and give you adjustable light and privacy. They are easy to clean and maintain. At Shenandoah Shutters, we even offer a 100-year limited, transferable warranty on our plantation shutters. We handfinish each plantation shutter with a stunning, silken lacquer finish that pairs perfectly with the fine wooden furniture in your home.
At Shenandoah Shutters, we use only premium woods to craft your plantation shutters. Complete the look with your choice of cream, stain, or custom color. Have an oddly shaped window or complicated installation need? We’ve seen it all. We’ll measure your window and build a shutter to fit your needs. We even offer the possibility of our original, patented Softedge design. The Softedge is a terrific option for casements and tilt-ins.
