Shenandoah Shutters Proudly Serves Lunenburg County
Lunenburg County is less than two hours away from major cities like Richmond and Charlottesville, giving residents the ability to enjoy both rustic and urban Virginia.
Hardwood plantation shutters are a common sight in Virginia, thanks to the natural beauty and rustic charm of this historic window treatment. Plantation shutters add a fitted hardwood detail to the window and give you adjustable light and privacy. They also give you added privacy. Most of all, you’ll have the ability to filter sunlight in and out of your home using the horizontal slats (louvers) of your shutters. The sunlight filtered by plantation shutters creates a beautiful, warm ambiance that is inviting and aesthetically pleasing.
Shenandoah Shutters has been serving the state of Virginia and surrounding areas for decades. We’re located in nearby Richmond, so you’ll be purchasing your shutters from a locally operated company. We custom make our plantation shutters to fit your windows. From French and sliding glass doors to sunbursts, we can create plantation shutters to suit every need.
We use premium woods like yellow poplar and basswood to craft your plantation shutters. You can also request specialty woods, including oak, cherry, and mahogany. You can choose from our vibrant creams and rich stains or select a custom color. We’ll come up with innovative ways to hang plantation shutters on even the most difficult windows. We even offer the Softedge design, our own patented technique, in lieu of traditional plantation shutters. If you have tilt-ins or casements, you’ll definitely want to explore this option.
Shenandoah Shutters offers a 100 year transferable warranty on your plantation shutters.
