Plantation Shutters Gaithersburg, MD

Shenandoah Shutters Proudly Serves Gaithersburg

Gaithersburg prides itself on community, environment, and respect for its history. Its logo, in fact, is a green G with an oak tree inside, meant to represent the city’s historic, fallen Forest Oak tree landmark. The nearly 300-year-old tree presided over the city from before its beginnings all the way to the late 1990s, when a powerful storm knocked it from its roots. The tree held many legends, including that it may have even offered shelter to George Washington.

Gaithersburg is home to numerous parks and ponds, providing opportunities for fishing, hiking, and playing. The city provides endless recreational experience for its residents and visitors, including an extensive skate park, miniature golf course, visual and performing arts, and even a community museum.

Shenandoah Shutters offers plantation shutters to complement the proud history of Gaithersburg. These shutters have been prized since the 1700s for their ability to gently deflect sunlight. Today’s homeowners value the privacy, beauty, and light control of plantation shutters. They are truly a timeless window treatment, perfect for windows of any shape or size.

If you’ve just purchased a home in Gaithersburg, or are looking to add plantation shutters to your existing home, Shenandoah Shutters can provide you with the highest-quality plantation shutters. We focus our business entirely on our lacquered, completely wooden plantation shutters, crafting each one at our Richmond, VA location by our skilled craftsmen.
