Plantation Shutters Calvert County, MD

Shenandoah Shutters Proudly Serves Calvert County

Calvert County is the fourth oldest state in Maryland and holds many homes and buildings from the 1700s. You’ll also find art galleries, antique stores, vineyards, lighthouses, and waterview restaurants. With so much to see and do, there’s truly something for everyone in Calvert County.

Plantation shutters are a timeless and sophisticated choice for the historic homes of Calvert County. Residents love the look and functionality of plantation shutters. Plantation shutters add a fitted hardwood detail to the window and give you adjustable light and privacy. They are also energy-efficient, helping to reduce your heating and cooling bills. Families appreciate plantation shutters for their safety profile. Unlike blinds and curtains, there are no dangling cords or fabrics that could pose a danger to young children.

Shenandoah Shutters has been installing plantation shutters in Calvert County homes for over thirty years. Our plantation shutters are completely hardwood and custom made to fit your windows. We handcraft each plantation shutter at our woodshop in Richmond, Virginia using premium woods.

You choose the color or stain for your plantation shutters. You can also request a specialty wood, such as oak or mahogany. We apply a smooth lacquer finish to each completed plantation shutter. Our plantation shutters will fit right in with your existing wood furnishings.
