What Affects the Cost of Custom Plantation Shutters?
Every plantation-shutter project is custom because every window and configuration is different. Shenandoah does not publish fixed prices, per-window prices, averages, or price ranges. A written quote is prepared after the windows are measured and the project details are reviewed.

- Window dimensions and quantity: Each opening is measured for the required frame and panels.
- Louver and panel configuration: Louver profile, panel count, café or full-height design, and specialty shapes affect fabrication.
- Material and finish: The selected hardwood, paint or stain, and color-matching requirements are documented for the project.
- Hardware and installation: Hinges, tracks, frames, clearances, and site conditions are reviewed before the quote is finalized.
What to Expect
During the in-home consultation, the team measures the openings and reviews the product selections. Shenandoah then provides a written quote for that specific project. Ask the consultant to clarify what is included and to document any optional work before approving the order.
