Plantation Shutters Ellicott City, MD

Shenandoah Shutters Proudly Serves Ellicott City

Just 20 minutes from Baltimore, Ellicott City is a diverse Maryland town with a rich history that is all its own. Founded in 1772, Ellicott City houses the oldest railroad station in the United States with its Baltimore & Ohio Ellicott City Station Museum. For some residents and visitors, the city’s history has remained ever present, with walking ghost tours and stories extremely popular at night.

Ghosts not your thing? Head to the Ellicott City Old Town Market or The Forget-Me-Not Factory, where you can explore 3 stories of one of Ellicott City’s oldest buildings, each floor filled with dragons, fairies, costumes, toys, and handmade items.

A fascinating town, Ellicott City isn’t without the scenic beauty that comes so naturally to Maryland. The Patapsco Valley State Park provides endless recreational opportunities to enjoy the wonder of Ellicott City.
